Project Details

• This was done in a home in NW Grand Rapids.
• The home had 4 bedrooms upstairs with 1 bath.
• Two bedrooms were gutted to the studs and made into 1 bedroom and a walk-in closet.
• A master bath was also added to this space.
  • With his and hers vanities
  • With a 4’ x 8’ walk in shower with multiple shower heads
  • With a private toilet room.
• There was extensive electrical work performed in this home.
• There was extensive plumbing work performed in this home.
  • With the addition of such a huge shower it required that we bring up a larger than normal pipe, so we had adequate water pressure to accommodate this shower.
  • This entailed getting creative on how to get the water up from the basement.
• There was also some additional creativity to get more natural light in the shower.
  • We added a transom window between the shower and the bedroom.
• Finally, we used the ever-growing trend of barn doors rather than standard hinged doors.
